Manville, NJ – Patricia M. (nee Mascola) Vetashick, 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at home with loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Stanley G. Vetashick. Born in New York City, NY, daughter of the late Chester and Lucy (nee Burke) Mascola, she grew up in Whitehouse, NJ, resided in Bound Brook, NJ, and Tewksbury, NJ, before moving back to Bound Brook. Patricia was an active church member with Emmanuel's Lutheran Church in Bath, PA while she was living in Pennsylvania and then when she moved back to New Jersey she became a parishioner with Christ the Redeemer Parish in Manville. While Patricia was living in Slatington with her husband and two grandchildren she was a volunteer teacher aid for Peter's Elementary School. She worked as a deli worker at Weis Markets in Schnecksville, PA, until retirement. In her free time, Patricia enjoyed crafts and baking. But her favorite pastime was lending a helping hand to others.
Patricia is survived by two loving children, Linda and her husband Louie Kraska of Manville and Robert Lenz and his wife Sandy of St. Louis, MO. She will be deeply missed by five dear siblings, Debi Stout, Mike Mascola, Tommy Mascola, Johnny Mascola, and Eddie Mascola; five cherished grandchildren, Tiffany and her husband Mike Moore, Christina and her husband Tim Paules, Jeremy, Miley, and Jason; many adored great grandchildren, precious great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
