Somerset, NJ- Paul B. Hannagan, 75, entered into eternal life on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Galloway, NJ. Born in Plainfield, NJ, son of the late Edward J. and Annette (Rilling), he lived most of his life in Plainfield and Piscataway before settling to Somerset 20 years ago.
Paul proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1958-1964 as a Medical Corpsman. He retired in 2014 from Victor's Heating and Air where he was an HVAC supervisor with over thirty years of dedicated service. Paul was a communicant of Holy Cross Episcopal Church in North Plainfield for many years. He and his wife owned and operated The Little Fox Hotel in Eagle Bay, NY. Paul loved to snowmobile in the Adirondacks, loved camping in his RV and was an avid stock car racing fan.
Besides his parents, Paul was predeceased by his brother, Edward Peter Hannagan in 1998 and cousin William Burke.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife Linda (Velcheck) Hannagan with whom he joined hands in marriage on July 16, 1966. He will be deeply missed by three loving daughters; Dawn Marie Hannagan of Flemington, Kellie Ann Janes and husband Michael of Manville and Danielle Michelle Bozowski and husband Anthony of Robbinsville; seven cherished grandchildren, Megan, Ashley, Rachel, Gary, Brianna, Hannah and Paul Joseph (PJ) and great grandson Adam David. He will also be missed by his dear sister Ethel Fedele of Myrtle Beach and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Paul will especially be missed by his "best little buddy "Mooch".
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Tuesday, September 15 from 4-9 p.m. An Episcopal Wake Service will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Fr. Ron Pollock of St. John's Episcopal Church officiating. At 7:00 p.m., family and friends with honor Paul with a eulogy service followed by military honors from the United States Navy.
At the family's request, disposition will be private.
