Hillsborough, NJ- Peter Drenchko, 90, entered eternal life on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at his residence with loving family by his side. Peter was born in New York City to the late Vasil and Anna (Hlinka) Drenchko.

Peter proudly served our country in the Army Air Corps from 1942 to 1945 during WWII. He worked as a chemist for the Bayer Chemical Company in Bayonne, NJ. He belonged to the American Chemical Society, American Institute of Chemists, the NRA and was a member of Sigma X and Alpha Chi Sigma fraternities. Peter was a faithful parishioner of Holy Ghost Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church in Manville.

Besides his parents, Peter was predeceased by his twin brother John in 1996.

Peter is survived by his loving and devoted wife of sixty-three years, Elizabeth (Kaplan) Drenchko with whom he joined hands in marriage on June 14, 1951. He will be deeply missed by his loving daughter, Sheila Smart and husband David of Hillsborough.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Tuesday, September 30 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. Panahida service, and on Wednesday, October 1 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:15 a.m.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1 beginning 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home followed by the 10:00 a.m. funeral service at Holy Ghost Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church in Manville with Fr. Ken Ellis officiating. Committal words and interment will follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery in Hillsborough. Memorial contributions may be made in Peter's memory to Holy Ghost Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church, 249 South 7th Avenue, Manville, NJ 08835.
