Parlin, NJ – Peter D. Koprowski, 68, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge Township. Born in Somerville to the late Peter and Josephine (Wrubel) Koprowski, he lived in Manville most of his life before settling to Parlin.

Peter was a former parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, Christ the Redeemer Parish in Manville. Peter graduated from Manville High School and had a witty and wry sense of humor, to the delight of his family.  He worked as a truck driver all his life, most recently with FMI Trucking in Carteret and loved modified and dragster car racing. Peter also enjoyed watching sports, especially attending Rutgers basketball games with his brother.

Peter is survived by his dear sister Joy Gadek and her husband Larry of Bayville, NJ and brother David Koprowski and his wife Mindy of Scotch Plains, NJ. He will also be missed by his nephew Paul Koprowski, niece Emily Koprowski and many cousins.
