Obituary

Phyllis (née Regiec) Krasnansky, age 87, entered into eternal life on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital - Somerset in Somerville, NJ with loving family at her side. Born in Highland Park, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Thomas and Antoinette (née Campisi) Regiec. Phyllis spent the majority of her life in Bound Brook, New Jersey, but in her youth lived in Manville, New Jersey.

Phyllis graduated from Bound Brook High School in the Class of 1956. Following her education, she worked as a bank teller at the Manville National Bank for several years. After her marriage, Phyllis devoted herself primarily to being a homemaker housewife, taking great pride in nurturing and raising her family. As she grew older, she particularly valued the time spent with her grandchildren. She was a dedicated parishioner of St. Mary of Czestochowa Church in Bound Brook. Phyllis enjoyed playing bingo and expressed her creativity through arts and crafts, making pillows and Christmas ornaments among other items. Another cherished pastime was spending time on the beach and the boardwalk at the Jersey Shore in Seaside Heights, trips to Disney, cooking large celebration meals, and going to eat at Applebee's all with immediate and extended family.

In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert A. Krasnansky, on January 2, 2017.

Phyllis is survived by her three loving children, Robert Krasnansky and his wife Susanne Lauscher of Le Rouret, France, Donna Wanzie of Sarasota, Florida and her late husband Michael Wanzie, and Kevin Krasnansky of Bound Brook, New Jersey; her three dear siblings, Barbara Ann Baccello, Jake Regiec, and David Regiec; her cherished grandchildren, Marisa Wanzie, Justin Wanzie, Evan Wanzie, and Christopher Robert Krasnansky; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
