Ray Vega passed away peacefully on Oct 20th at 5:39 pm. He is survived by his parents Abraham and Susan Gittleman and siblings Lisa Gittleman and Abraham Gittleman Jr. I don't even know where to begin, or even how to begin to communicate to anyone reading this what an incredible human being he was. He was a son a mother and father could only wish for and a brother that you would die for. His life's journey started out with many difficulties. He had cerebral palsy.  Although he might have been afflicted physically he more than made up for it with his mind. Anytime he walked into the room he almost always became the smartest person in the room.  For all his talents and abilities he had with his mind, that was dwarfed by his heart!! A man that gave so much love and asked for nothing in return. His love... his devotion... to friends and family was unconditional.  To know him was truly to love him.  He is now on his eternal and never ending journey with God. As his family and his brother I can only hope and pray that We (I) ca be united with him in Heaven.  Personally, I have a lot of work to do, I'm not even half the man he was.

As he became older his CP got worse and worse to the point he was living in constant pain. He had periods where it wasn't as intense but it was obvious to his family he was struggling. Yet even with his worsening condition.  He never ever complained. He was a loving, selflessness incredible Man. I ask all that knew him to keep him in your thoughts and prayers. He passed on his own terms.  He is waiting for us. Let's not disappoint him. Your family and friends miss you immensely. You have all our love Ray.
