Richard M.
Keller
Sep 22, 1954 — Aug 15, 2026
Manville
Richard Keller, at the age of 71, peacefully entered eternal life on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at home. He was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, as the son of the late Clarence and Mary (née Welshko) Keller, Richard was a lifelong resident of Manville, New Jersey.
Richard graduated from Manville High School in 1973. He dedicated many years of his career to the Manville Borough Road Department, serving as a sanitation worker. A devout man, Richard was raised in the Catholic faith and was a former parishioner of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville. He engaged with numerous organizations in town and was an avid supporter of the Manville Mustangs Athletics Department for many years. As a member of the Extra Pint’s Dart League, he loved playing competitive darts and socializing with fellow league members and friends. You could always find Richie, or “X9” as he was affectionately known to many in Manville, cheering on his beloved Las Vegas Raiders or New York Yankees.
Richie was a kind, good-natured and pure soul with a contagious smile and laugh that endeared him to all who were lucky enough to know him. He lit up with joy when sharing the latest funny thing one of his nieces or nephews had said or done. He will be deeply missed by family and friends alike.
In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by his brother, Robert Keller.
Richard is survived and will be deeply missed by his brother, Joseph Keller (Beverly) of Duxbury, Massachusetts; and many cherished nieces and nephews – Brian (Deb), Meghan and Emily, Christopher, Scott (Deanna), Ryan (Emily), Patrick and Christopher, Dana (Jayson) and Robert, Gregg and Cole.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, located at 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 from 5-7 p.m. Joseph will say a few words to honor his brother at 6pm.
