Somerset, NJ – Robert W. Minton, 88, entered into eternal life on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-New Brunswick with his loving family by his side. Born in Maracaibo, Venezuela to Herbert and Maria Zoraida (Centeno) Minton, he was raised in Lima, Peru and came to the United States in 1951.

Robert was a parishioner of Christ the Redeemer Parish in Manville. Robert was in the Import/Export business from which he retired. He enjoyed a variety of hobbies such as reading, photography and watching tennis and soccer. Robert loved following new technology and was very interested in computers.

Besides his parents, Robert was predeceased by his sister, Lily Romo-Levox and beloved granddaughter, Kristen Marie Daniel.

Robert is survived by his devoted wife Maria (Orro-Yllanes) Minton; daughter Lilly Daniel and her husband Chuck of Manville and his granddaughter Lisa Ann Daniel.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Thursday, March 1 from 5-8 p.m.

A funeral liturgy will be held on Friday, March 2 at 9:00 a.m. at Christ the Redeemer Parish (Sacred Heart Church) in Manville. Robert will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
