Hillsborough, NJ- Ronald Thomas "Ron" Stanislaw, 67, entered eternal life on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington, NJ.   Ron was born in Somerville, NJ to the late Demeter and Mary (Bugal) Stanislaw.

Ron proudly served our country in the Air Force as Airman 1 ^st Class from 1969 to 1971. He retired as a custodian for Hillsborough Elementary School in Hillsborough, NJ.  Golfing and vegetable gardening were two of his many hobbies.  He was an avid Giants fan.  Ron was a faithful parishioner and usher of Holy Ghost Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church in Manville.

Besides his parents, Ron was predeceased by his brother, James Stanislaw in 2011.

He is survived by his loving daughter,  Kelly Chase and her husband Paul of Merrimac, MA, two adored grandchildren, Shannon and Christian Ogurkis of Milford, NJ; siblings, Daniel and his wife Dolores Stanislaw of Manville, Nancy Collins and her husband Tom of Bridgewater, Donna Provel and her husband John of Green Brook, Linda Hopper and her husband Ken of Green Brook, Doreen Stanislaw and her partner Robin Wernik of Neptune and sister in law, Barbara Stanislaw of Nova Scotia, Canada.  He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Friday, June 16 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. Panahida service celebrated by Father Kenneth Ellis and on Saturday, June 17 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:15 a.m.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday,  June 17 beginning 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home followed by the 10:00 a.m. funeral service at Holy Ghost Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church249 South 7th Avenue, Manville, NJ with Fr. Kenneth Ellis officiating.   Committal words and interment will follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery, Route 533 Millstone River Road, Hillsborough, NJ.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ron's memory to Holy Ghost Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church, 249 South 7 ^th Avenue, Manville, NJ 08835,  the American Diabetes Association, P O Box 15829, Arlington, VA, 22215 or you may donate blood to any hospital and/or blood bank.
