Rose M. (DiMaggio) Czarnecki, 91, entered eternal life on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Raritan Health and Extended Care in Raritan. Born in Raritan, daughter of the late Raymond and Constance (Aranzula) DiMaggio, she lived in Manville most of her life before settling to Somerville in 2000.

Rose retired as a Quality Control Inspector from Johns Manville Corporation in Manville after 29 years of employment and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville and enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, crossword puzzles, cooking and picnics at the Jersey Shore.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph Czarnecki on March 11, 1982 and by her dear siblings Loretta Hall, Mabel Bush, Carmela Andronico and Joey DiMaggio.

Rose leaves behind her loving son and daughter-in-law, David and Patricia Czarnecki of Toms River; her dear siblings, Virginia "Ginny" DiMaggio and partner Richard of Toms River, Marie Paulino of Middlesex and Raymond DiMaggio and wife Barbara of Bucks County, PA. She will be deeply missed by her adored granddaughter Dr. Tania Czarnecki Wismar and her husband Paul of Philadelphia, PA.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Friday, February 10 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, February 11 from 8-8:30 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 11 beginning 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville. Rose will be laid to rest beside her husband at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough. Memorial contributions may be made in Rose's name to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, P.O.
