Manville, NJ- Rose (nee Kovacs) Pleban, 90, entered into eternal life on Friday, November 26, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-Somerset in Somerville, NJ.  Born in Hungary, daughter of the late William and Louisa Kovacs, she immigrated to the United States of America at the age of three.  She had lived in Staten Island, NY prior to moving to Manville where she spent most of her life.

Rose retired in 1996 after many years of dedicated employment as an assistant cook with Bound Brook High School.  She loved to bowl and play bingo in her younger years.  Rose also enjoyed going to the casinos with her son and daughter.  More recently her favorite pastime was spending quality time with family especially her grandchildren.

Rose was predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael P. Pleban who died on February 7, 1974; son, Richard Pleban in 2009; and her brothers and sisters.

Rose is survived by her three loving children, William M. Pleban and his wife Lynn of New Tripoli, PA, Karen and her husband Richard Adlassnig of South Plainfield, NJ, and Michael Pleban of Manville.  She will be deeply missed by two cherished grandchildren, Jospeh Pleban and Emily Pleban.
