Russell Charneski, at the age of 57, entered eternal life on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at home with loving family in his presence. Russell was born in Somerville, New Jersey, and is the son of Joyce (née Pawlik) Charneski and the late Charles S. Charneski; he was a resident of Manville, New Jersey.

Russell was a graduate of Manville High School. Russell's love for animals was a catalyst in his decision to become owner of Petmosphere Pet Shop in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, where he worked for many years. In his earlier years, Russell found joy in Go-Karting and won many trophies while competing. He was a passionate follower of NASCAR and loved iRacing, a premier PC-based NASCAR simulation that features officially licensed cars and laser-scanned tracks. He also had a keen interest in computer gaming.

Besides his father, Russell is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Helen Pawlik and John Pawlik; paternal grandparents, Helen and Charles Charneski; and brother-in-law, Richard Koziol.

In addition to his loving and caring mother, Joyce, Russell is survived by his dear siblings, Charles Charneski and his wife Suzanne of Monroe, New Jersey, Sandra Koziol of Manville, and Jayne Charneski of New York, New York; and his  cherished feline friend, Buster.
