Manville, NJ-Ruth L. (nee Ferguson) Petsko Jakimer, 94, entered into eternal life on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving daughters and a son-in-law.  Born in Kearny, NJ, daughter of the late Harry and Martha (nee Hale) Ferguson, she spent many years in Newark, NJ before settling to Manville in 1966.

Ruth was a homemaker.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed shopping, especially on QVC.  She was a communicant of Christ the Redeemer Parish (Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church) in Manville and had been a member of their Altar Rosary Society.  She was also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary.

Besides her parents, Ruth was predeceased by her 1 ^st husband John Petsko on May 21, 1976 and 2 ^nd husband Henry Jakimer on May 28, 1999; a daughter, Lorraine Smith; two sons, Robert Petsko and John Petsko; two siblings, Harry Ferguson and Martha E. Roche; and two grandchildren.

Ruth is survived by five loving children, Ruth Ann and her husband James McAlinden of Nutley, NJ, Carol Petsko of Nutley, Kathryn and her husband Ray Pobuta of Phillipsburg, NJ, Lois Lukashonak of Easton, PA, and Judy Petsko with whom Ruth lived with in Manville; ten cherished grandchildren; fourteen adored great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Wednesday, June 13 from 4-8 p.m. and on Thursday, June 14 from 8-8:30 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 14 beginning 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Christ the Redeemer Parish (Sacred Heart Church) in Manville.  Committal words and interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.  Memorial contributions may be made in Ruth's name to the Arc of Somerset County, 141 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835.
