Merrit Island, FL – Salvatore R. Giammarco, 87, entered eternal life on Saturday,
October 11, 2014 at Cape Canaveral Hospital in Cocoa Beach, FL. Born in Middlesex,
NJ, son of the late Panfilo and Angelina Giammarco, he resided in Hillsborough, NJ,
and Pennington, NJ prior to settling in Merrit Island.

Salvatore faithfully served his country with the United States Navy from 1945 to 1947
during World War II. He retired from PSE&G in New Brunswick, NJ as a Supervisor.
While living in NJ, Salvatore was a parishioner at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in
East Millstone, NJ. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #2544
Commodore John Barry of Dunellen, NJ.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers John and Anthony Giammarco.

Salvatore is survived by his beloved wife of fifty-nine years, Deloris J. (Setlock)
Giammarco, with whom he joined hands in marriage on November 7, 1954; two loving
children, Joyce G. Rafalko of Asbury, NJ, and Salvatore J. Giammarco of Spring, TX.
He will be deeply missed by 2 remaining siblings, Anna Lapinski of Middlesex, and Rose O'Connor of Mechanicsburg, PA; and three cherished grandchildren, Tiffany L. Rafalko, Dean Andrew Giammarco, and Lauren Nicole Giammarco.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home,
205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Sunday, October 19 from 2-5 p.m. and on Monday, October 20 from 7:45–8:30 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 20 beginning 8:30 a.m. at the funeral
home followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Christ the Redeemer Parish (Sacred Heart Church) in Manville. Committal words and interment will follow at Sacred Heart
Cemetery in Hillsborough.
