Obituary

Franklin Township, NJ- Sharen A.  (nee Smith) Lang, 74, entered into eternal life on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Somerset Woods Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Franklin Township, NJ.  Born in Long Branch, NJ, daughter of the late Clifford N. and Vivian (nee Wolcott) Smith, she was raised in Little Silver,  Bayside Queens, NY and also lived in Bound Brook from 1967 to 1983 before settling to Manville.

Sharen worked for Ohaus Corporation as an accounts receivable clerk. She enjoyed being a Girl Scout leader and a pioneer in establishing the library at Smalley School in Bound Brook. In retirement she focused on her love of crafting and was known to be talented at crochet.   Sharen gave in death as she did in life by donating her corneas so someone else could see.

Besides her parents, Sharen was predeceased by her two sisters, Dolores Fitzpatrick and Caroline Miller.

Sharen is survived by her loving husband, Tom Lang of Manville, loving daughters, Cindy Ferrador and her husband Michael of Eatontown, NJ and Christina Bucciero and her husband Michele of Manville.  She will also be deeply missed by her two cherished grandchildren, Juliana and Antimo Bucciero.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.

Final disposition will be private.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Friends of the Manville Library, 100 South 10 th Avenue, Manville, NJ.
