Somerset, NJ- Simone "June" (Doucet) Brittain, 96, entered eternal life on
Friday, December 9, 2011 at the Eastern Star Home in Bridgewater. Born
in Montreal, Canada, daughter of the late Gaston and Juliette
Archambeault, she resided in Brooklyn for thirty years before settling
to Somerset in 1984.

Simone was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren
and great grandchildren whom she loved very much. She was a
communicant of St. Matthias Roman Catholic Church in Somerset.

Besides her parents, Simone was predeceased by her beloved husband
Frederick J. Brittain, Sr., with whom she shared fifty-three years of
marriage.

Simone is survived by her loving sons and their spouses, Frederick and
Dorothy Brittain and John and Carole Lee Brittain. She will be deeply
missed by her dear sister Madeline Wood; dear brother Richard Doucet;
dear brother-in-law Joseph Brittain; three cherished grandsons Robert,
John and Frederick Brittain whom affectionately knew her as "Me Ma";
five adored great grandchildren Corrine, Taylor, Brooke, Jackson and
Tyler Brittain and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at
Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ
08835 on Wednesday, December 14 from 2-4 p.m. with the funeral service
at 4 p.m. with clergy from St. Matthias Roman Catholic Church
officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Simone's
memory to Haven Hospice, 65 James Street, Edison, NJ 08820 or to your
local Salvation Army.
