Manville, NJ-Sophie J .(Gibus) Kosensky, 93, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Somerset Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Bound Brook surrounded by her loving and devoted family.

A graduate of Bound Brook High School, she was a long time employee of Ethicon,
Inc. She loved growing and nurturing her plants and took great pride in maintaining the
beautiful landscaping she installed throughout her property.

A devoted wife, she was predeceased by Anthony "Kush" Kosensky, her husband of 49
years, her sister Helen Daum and brothers Steven Gibus, Joseph Gibus, Anthony Gibus,
Michael Gibus and John Gibus. She is survived by siblings Victoria Peltack of Manville
and Mary Jablonski of South River, along with many nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by her son Kenneth Kosensky and his wife Joanne of Manville, son
Wayne Kosensky and his wife Joan of Hillsborough and son Dennis Kosensky and his
wife Joan of Manville.

In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren Linda, Debra, Thomas, Anthony "Kush"
and Kristen and great grandchildren Heather and Troy along with step grandchildren
Janet, Jessica and Jina and step great grandchildren Nicholas, Brandi, Juliana, Adam and Addison.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Tuesday, July 10 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. A 12:00 funeral liturgy will follow at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Manville. Sophie will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough, NJ.
