Obituary

Bridgewater, NJ- Stanley T. Buczkowski, Sr., 95, entered eternal life on Friday, January 6, 2012 at home. Born in Newark, NJ, son of the late Walter and Michaelina (Olas) Buczkowski, he moved to Manville in 1927 and lived in Bound Brook from 1952 to 1963 before settling to Bridgewater.

Stanley was a communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville having served as an altar boy in his youth. Stanley retired from Middlesex Quality Foods in Highland Park after more than thirty years of dedicated employment. He graduated from Bound brook High School where he played football. He was an avid sports fan of all athletics, loved the games of golf and bowling and enjoyed spending time at the shore with his family.

Besides his parents, Stanley was predeceased by his beloved wife Helen (Czajkowski) Buczkowski in 1986 and sisters Bea Zwerko, Laura Robb and Janet Welaj.

Stanley leaves behind his devoted sons, George S. Buczkowski of Bridgewater and S. James Buczkowski, Jr. of Brick. He will be deeply missed by his two cherished grandchildren, James A. Buczkowski and Lisa Percival.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Wednesday, January 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

The funeral service will be held at the funeral home beginning 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 11 with clergy from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church officiating. Committal words and interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
