Stella (Kachek) Cooper, 86, entered eternal life on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at home. Born and raised in St. Clair, PA, she settled to Manville in 1958.
Stella was a homemaker having been employed in manufacturing for 13 years at Johnson & Johnson in Raritan. Stella was a parishioner and very active at Holy Ghost Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church in Manville. She was an avid seamstress, enjoyed crotcheting and was a member of the Manville Senior Citizens.
Besides her parents, Stella was predeceased by her beloved husband John Cooper, Sr. on April 8, 1989, by loving daughter Karen Cooper Eberling in 1983 and by a dear brother Charles Kachek.
Stella is survived by her loving and devoted sons, John G. Cooper and wife Donna of Washington Crossing, PA, Dennis Cooper and wife Brenda of Edison; dear siblings, Julia Galida, Rose Terracciano, Ann Popovich and John Kachek. She will be deeply missed by her cherished grandchildren, Jennifer Eberling, Alison Cooper, Sam Cooper, Dennis Cooper and Brianna Cooper along with her loving caretaker Olia Karpiy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Tuesday, November 6 from 6-9 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. Parastas service and on Wednesday, November 7 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:15 a.m.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 7 beginning 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home followed by the 10:00 a.m. funeral service at Holy Ghost Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church in Manville with Fr. Ken Ellis officiating. Committal words and interment will follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery in Hillsborough. Memorial contributions may be made in Stella's memory to Holy Ghost Carpatho Russian Orthodox Church, 249 South 7th Avenue, Manville, NJ 08835.
