Manville, NJ -- Stella A. (Pastula) Swick, 84, entered into eternal rest on July 23, 2016 after a brief illness. Born in McAdoo, PA, daughter of the late John and Antoinette (Billig) Pastula, she resided in Manville since 1961.

Stella retired in 2006 after working thirteen years from the NJ Eastern Star Home in Finderne, NJ. She was a devout parishioner and member of the Altar Rosary Society of Christ the Redeemer Parish (Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church) in Manville. Stella was a proud member of the Polish Women's Alliance of America. Her favorite pastime was to attend mass daily and she took great pleasure in listening to polka music.

Besides her parents, Stella was predeceased by her beloved husband, Paul of fifty years, and by her dear siblings, Helen, Ann, Sophie, Stanley, Paul, and Frank.

Stella leaves behind her two loving children, son, Paul J. and wife Gloria Swick of Portland, OR and daughter, Janet and husband Robert Comerford of Holland Township, NJ with whom she recently lived, and her siblings Veronica Cheeka of Shiremanstown, PA and Caroline Pasich of Hazelton, PA. She will be deeply missed by her three cherished grandchildren; Brian, Kristin & Kelly Comerford all of Holland Township.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Tuesday, July 26 from 6 – 8:30 p.m. and on Wednesday, July 27 from 8-8:30 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 27 beginning 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Christ the Redeemer Parish (Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church) in Manville. Stella will be laid to rest beside her husband at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Stella's name to Christ the Redeemer Parish, PO Box 924, Manville, NJ 08835.
