Manville, NJ- Stephen C. "Steve" Regetz, Jr., 77, entered into eternal life, peacefully, after a long illness Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Laurel Circle Health Center in Bridgewater, NJ.  Born in New Brunswick, NJ, son of the late Stephen C. and Elizabeth (nee Buchanec) Regetz, Sr., he was a lifelong resident of Manville.

Steve was a graduate of Manville High School with the Class of 1964.  He then went on to continue his education and earn a bachelor's degree in accounting from Rider College.  Steve faithfully served his country with the United States Army during the Vietnam War as a radio operator from 1968-1971.  Steve began his working career as an accountant at Johns Manville, Inc.  in the plant building and later in the research building.  He retired after several years of dedicated employment with Lepton in Berkley Heights, NJ, as head accountant.  Stephen was a member of the American Legion Post 304 and Thomas J. Kavanaugh VFW Post 2290, both of Manville.  He was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles, and could often be found walking around Manville enjoying the community.

Stephen will be dearly missed by his family and is survived by two loving siblings, James Regetz and his wife Victoria of Hillsborough, NJ and Patricia Regetz of Manville; three cherished nephews, James Regetz, Thomas Regetz, and Robert Turner; five dear great nieces and nephews.
