Lakewood, NJ – Theodora "Teddy" Ann Horuszak, 81, entered into eternal life on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at the Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Born in Bayonne to her late parents Anthony and Mary (Swandrak) Horuszak, Teddy spent most of her life as a Manville resident before moving to the Lakewood area in 2006.
Teddy retired as an Inspector with RCA Corporation formerly of Bridgewater. A dedicated communicant, member of the Altar Rosary Society and former organist of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville, she was very active with all the church functions especially the Summer Festival.
She enjoyed bingo and taking trips to Atlantic City. Teddy had a passion for cooking and baking where she loved sharing her recipe's with all those that knew her.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her siblings; Frances Zaborowski and Theodore Horuszak.
Teddy leaves behind many extended family members and friends; especially her niece Kathleen Manger and her husband Heinz and by two adored great nephews, Michael and Joseph Ubriaco.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Monday, February 4, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m.
Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 8:30 a.m. followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville. Teddy will be laid to rest beside her parents in the family plot of Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
