Manville, NJ- Theodore Paul "Ted" Seigler, 84, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-Somerset in Somerville, NJ, with his loving wife by his side. Born in Flagtown, NJ, son of the late Steven and Nellie (nee Severym) Seigler, he spent all of his life in Manville.
Ted was a graduate of Bound Brook High School with the Class of 1956. He faithfully served his country with the United States Army as a specialist class 4 and was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. Ted had over ten years of dedicated employment as a shipping and receiving clerk with Somerset Technology in Somerset, NJ. He began his working career as a store manager for Acme in Somerville and then he was employed at Eastern Target in South Plainfield, NJ. He loved gardening and watching sports, especially football and baseball.
Besides his parents, Ted was predeceased by ten siblings, Richard, Steven, Danny, Henry, Freddy, Raymond, Eddie, Mildred, Gertrude, and Caroline.
Ted is survived by his loving wife of forty-nine years, Francine A. (nee DiCanto) Seigler, whom he joined hands in marriage on September 25, 1973; four dear sisters, Nellie and her husband George Mahilo, Phyliss and her husband Michael Giafagana, Pattie Sidorski, and Evelyn and her husband Lou Iszak; dear sisters-in-law, Freida and her husband Ed Moreland and Frances Hansen; and many cherished nieces and nephews, all whom will miss Ted dearly.
Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835.
