Bridgewater, NJ- Thomas Lee Collins, 77, entered into eternal life on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at home.  Born and raised in Poestenkill, NY, son of the late James and Elizabeth (nee Cook) Collins, he settled to Bridgewater around 1967 when he met the love of his life, Nancy.

Thomas faithfully served his country with the United States Army during the Vietnam War as an E7, having earned many honors and commendations.  He continued to serve with the Army for many years and was a lifetime retiree.  Thomas was a maintenance worker with the Road Department for Branchburg Township and retired after over thirty years of dedicated employment.  He loved his family and their time together, especially his time spent with his grandchildren.  Thomas always did the best he could with the situation at hand.

Besides his parents, Thomas was predeceased by his beloved wife, Nancy (nee Stanislaw) Collins who died on December 31, 2021; brother, Douglas Collins; and nephew, Douglas Collins, Jr.

Thomas is survived by five loving children, Cynthia Bryan of Bridgewater, James Collins of Somerville, NJ, Colleen and her husband Mark Darabant, of Somerville, Catherine and her husband Tom Altiere of Califon, NJ, and Thomas Collins of Bridgewater.  He will be deeply missed by nine cherished grandchildren, two adored great grandchildren, and many dear nieces, nephews, and cousins.
