Manville, NJ- Thomas J. Hornberger, 63, passed away on May 2, 2022, at his residence. Thomas was born in Somerville, NJ to the late William and Mary (Chernichowski) Hornberger.  He was a lifelong resident of Manville.

Thomas enjoyed many activities. His pride possession was building the race car with Sam. Although he didn't get the chance to race it, he was proud of it. Wrenching was something he enjoyed with Sam. Next, was boating and fishing with his lifelong friend Mark. He enjoyed the Raritan River and the Millstone. Last but not least was gardening and landscaping. He always planted too much with Mom and was glad to give the vegetables away.

Tom was always willing to give a helping hand to friends and neighbors, especially during the floods.

Thomas is survived by his sister, Karen Albanese of Acton, ME, Niece, Julie Albanese, nephew Richard Albanese and great niece, Ariana.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Saturday, May 14th, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough, where Thomas will be laid to rest with his parents.
