Obituary

Somerville, NJ-Vera Wilhousky, 94, peacefully entered eternal life on Monday, January 2, 2012 at her residence. Born in Passaic, NJ, daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Wilhousky, she resided in Manville most of her life before settling to Somerville.

After working in New York City for several years, Vera returned to Manville to join her brother at Joseph J. Wilhousky Insurance Company. She was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Orthodox Church in Manville.

Besides her parents, Vera was predeceased by her dear siblings, Mary, Anna, Peter, Joseph, Jerome, Emil and Vladimir.

Vera is survived by her many loving nieces and nephews and their children who are most grateful for the care she was given by her ComForcare family and three special caregivers, Trish, Veronica and Afua. Our family is also appreciative of the care and assistance given by Grace Hospice during the past few months.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Ss. Peter & Paul Orthodox Church, 605 Washington Avenue, Manville, NJ 08835 on Friday, January 6 from 6-8 p.m. with the Panikhida at 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, January 7 from 9:30 a.m. until 10 a.m.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 7 beginning 10:00 a.m. at Ss. Peter & Paul Orthodox Church followed by the committal words and interment at Ss. Peter & Paul Orthodox Cemetery in Hillsborough. Memorial contributions may be made in Vera's name to Ss. Peter & Paul Orthodox Church, 605 Washington Avenue, Manville, NJ 08835.
