Manville, NJ- Vincent J. Miezejewski, Sr., 84, entered into eternal life on Monday, April 16, 2012 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville, surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Dickson City, PA, son of the late Vincent and Victoria Miezejewski, he was then a lifelong resident of Manville.

Vincent faithfully served his country with two tours of duty as a communication technician with the United States Navy during World War II, serving in Guam and Morocco, and receiving the American Campaign Medal. He was a pipe fitter at Johns Manville Corporation for thirty-one years and later was a custodian at the Triangle School in Hillsborough for thirteen years, retiring in the early 90's. Vincent was a communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville, a member of VFW Post #2290, American Legion Post #304 and the Quarter Century Club, all of Manville.

Besides his parents, Vincent is predeceased by his dear siblings; John, Edward, Frank, Joseph, Pearl and Bernadine.

Vincent leaves behind his beloved wife of fifty-eight years, Eleanor B. (Anderson) Miezejewski with whom he joined hands in marriage on January 23, 1954; his loving children, Mary, Therese and Vincent Jr. He will be deeply missed by four adored grandchildren; Kevin, Nichole, Vincent and Angela and his three great grandchildren; Timothy Jr., Sydney and Brayden.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Thursday, April 19 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, April 20 from 8:00-8:30 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 20 beginning 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville. Committal words and interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
