Manville, NJ- Walter T. Fedorczyk, 85, entered eternal life on Monday, August 15, 2011 at his home. Born in Manville, NJ, son of the late John and Sophie Fedorczyk, he was a lifelong resident of Manville.
Walter retired from the US Postal Service in Belle Mead as a printer after twenty-six years of employment. He was an avid NY Yankees and Rutgers athletics fan. He enjoyed the beach. In his youth, Walter could be heard on local radio shows with his brothers playing the guitar and singing country western songs. He was a master craftsman who could fix or build anything. Walter was a dedicated husband and father and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Walter was a communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville.
Besides his parents, Walter was predeceased by his brothers Stanley, Joseph and Frank and by a sister Helen.
Walter is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-three years, Julia (Smolinka) Fedorczyk, with whom he joined hands in marriage on May 29, 1948. They were considered by many to be an example of the "perfect couple." He will be deeply missed by his loving daughter Judy and her husband Ron Rand of Hillsborough, loving son David Fedorczyk and his wife Marie of Hillsborough and his loving daughter Janet White of Princeton; dear sister Michaelina Fedorczyk; seven precious grandchildren, Michael and Sara Fedorczyk, Joey and Jill Vazzano, James, Julianna and Jessica White.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Thursday, August 18 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, August 19 from 8-8:30 a.m.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 19 beginning 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville. Walter will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough, NJ.
