Warren John Hallenbake's Obituary
Somerset, NJ- Warren John Hallenbake, 75, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 in Bound Brook, NJ. Born in Kearny, NJ, son of the late Norman and Emma (Lloyd) Hallenbake he resided briefly in Bound Brook and South Bound Brook, NJ before settling to Somerset in 1978.
Warren faithfully served his country with the United States Air Force as an electronics technician from 1957 to 1962 and he also served many years with the National Guard. He graduated from Newark College of Engineering in 1971 with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. He had many dedicated years of employment as an electrical engineer with American Cyanimid in Bridgewater, NJ, Stork Bowen Engineering in the Finderne section of Bridgewater, RCA in Somerville, and he retired from Betham Corporation in Middlesex, NJ. After retirement he worked with security at AT&T. Some of Warren's passions in life included custom woodwork and finished carpentry, stamp collecting, and listening to music. He had an extensive collection of classical and big band music. He was a past communicant of St. Mary of Czestochowa Roman Catholic Church in Bound Brook and Our Lady of Mt. Virgin Roman Catholic Church in Middlesex.
Besides his parents, Warren was predeceased by a son, Eric Hallenbake.
Warren is survived by his devoted wife, Carolyn Ann (Wasko) Hallenbake; loving sons, Darryl Hallenbake of Somerset and Jason Hallenbake and his wife Cassandra Russell of Manville, NJ; and a dear brother, Richard Hallenbake of Old Saybrook, CT.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Friday, November 6 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, November 7 from 10-11 a.m.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 7 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Committal words and interment will follow at Bound Brook Cemetery in Bound Brook. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Warren's name to Our Lady of Mt. Virgin Roman Catholic Church, 600 Harris Avenue, Middlesex, NJ 08846.
