Hillsborough - Wayne Kosensky, 76, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at RWJ Hospital. Wayne was the son of Anthony Kosensky and Sophie Gibus Kosensky of Manville, NJ where he graduated in 1963.

Besides his parents, Wayne was predeceased by his wife Joan, brother Kenneth, step-son John, and nephew Kushie. Wayne was a devoted husband of 30+ years, brother, step-father, grandfather, uncle and friend. Most of his career was working for the Somerset County Road Division. He enjoyed bartending, spending the day fishing on the boat with his brothers Dennis and Kenny, the Yankees and spending time with his family. He loved and was proud of each of his four grandchildren, Nicholas, Julianna, Adam and Addison. Wayne will be missed, especially his generous and helpful nature along with his fun loving spirit.

He is survived by Dennis Kosensky and wife Joan Kosensky, sister-in-law Joanne Kosensky, step-daughters Janet Yarka, Jessica DeFeo, Jina Henn and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Friday April 16, 2021 beginning at 11:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Cemetery 1096 Millstone River Road Hillsborough, NJ 08844.  Due to Covid-19 restrictions, masks and social distancing are required.
