Wieslaw "Wes" Baginski, age 85, entered eternal life on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at home. Wes was born in Kozie-Glowy, Poland, and is the son to the late Stefan and Eugenia Genowefa (née Waloch) Baginski; he immigrated to the United States of America first resided in Bayonne, New Jersey, then Manville, New Jersey, and settled to Hillsborough, New Jersey, in 1972.
Wes was unwavering in his commitment and commenced his career at Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick, New Jersey, where he worked as an assembly worker. After 11 years with J&J, he continued his career working for the Phoenix Steel Container Company in New Brunswick, where he served as a machinist for over 20 years, before retirement.
Wes took pleasure in gardening always enjoying tending to his fruits and vegetables. He also enjoyed time spent tending to the landscaping around his home. In addition to gardening, Wes was a handyman, enjoyed spending free time outdoors relaxing, and he had a sweet tooth as he loved his sweets. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, presently known as Christ the Redeemer Parish in Manville.
Wes is survived and will be dearly missed by his four caring children, Alina and her husband Thomas Ward, Edward Baginski and his wife Rhonda, Donna Rogusky, and Michael Baginski, all of Hillsborough; the mother of his children, Irene Baginski; his dear sister, Krystyna Purgacz who is back in Poland; six cherished grandchildren, Leanna Ward, Stephanie (née Baginski) Gellichio, Richard Baginski, Alyssa (née Rogusky) Liscik, Ella Baginski, and Chloe Baginski; four treasured great grandchildren Victor Gellichio, Damian Gellichio, Katlin Gellichio, and Marco Anthony Toresco, Jr.; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A private funeral ceremony was entrusted to Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, PO Box 515, Manville, NJ 08835. Wes will be interred at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
