Somerville, NJ- William "Bill" Skuba, 83, entered into eternal life on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Bryan Manor in Chester, NJ.  Born in Freeland, PA, son of the late Peter and Mary Skuba, he was raised in Pennsylvania before moving to New Jersey at the age of eighteen.

Bill was a communicant of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church in Hillsborough, NJ having dedicated many years there as a cantor.  He belonged to the Elks Lodge and the Moose Club.  In his spare time, he loved to tinker with and fix things.  He was employed at American Cyanamid becoming Lederle Laboratories in Bound Brook, NJ retiring in 1984 as a plant superintendent after more than 30 years of service.

Besides his parents, Bill was predeceased by his beloved wife, Dolores (Guydos) Skuba; sister, Eleanor Benyo; and brothers, Nicholas, George, and John.

Bill will be deeply missed by his loving children, William W. Skuba of Somerville and Cherylyn and her husband Jeffrey Heikoop of  White Rock, NM; and cherished grandchildren, Phillip and Alisha.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Thursday, May 11 from 6-8 p.m. with Fr. Jim officiating the Parastas Service at 7:00 p.m., and on Friday, May 12 from 9:00-9:45 a.m. with the Panachida Service beginning at 9:45 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 12, beginning 9:45 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 10:30 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church in Hillsborough.  Bill will be laid to rest beside his wife at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.  Memorial contributions may be made in Bill's name to St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, 1900 Brooks Boulevard, Hillsborough, NJ 08844.
