Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home has been in business since 1931. The funeral home was founded by Mr. Matthew Maliszewski and was later joined by Adam Fucillo. Mr. Fucillo purchased the funeral home in 1954 and ran the home with his son-in-law, Jack Warren. Upon the death of Mr. Warren, Mr. Fucillo continued to manage the funeral home until 1979, when he died at the age of 87. Mr. John "Jack" R. Zalewski, owner/manager, NJ Lic. #2820, purchased the funeral home from the Fucillo family and has been conducting funeral home operations with the help of his family. Mr. Zalewski's three children, Sharon Ann Zalewski, director, NJ Lic. #4003, Kevin S. Zalewski, director, NJ Lic. #4165, and John R. Zalewski, Jr., director, NJ Lic. #4703 are all licensed funeral directors. George Rocco Seminara, Jr., director, NJ Lic. #4927, is also a licensed funeral director at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home. A support staff of six persons, some of whom have been with the funeral home since 1979, is available to serve your family. In 1985, Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home was the first funeral home in the state of New Jersey to receive the prestigious award of Pursuit of Excellence, awarded by the National Funeral Directors Association.

Our History
Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home is a member of the Manville Business and Professional Association, where Mr. Zalewski was one of the original organizers and their second president. Mr. Zalewski is an active member of the Middlesex and Somerset County Funeral Directors Association, New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association (NJSFDA), and the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA); he was the president of the NJSFDA from 1989-1990, where he represented the state of New Jersey throughout the nation. During his administration as president of the NJSFDA, he was instrumental in drafting the New Jersey Pre-Need Rules and Regulations, which today are considered the finest in the nation. After serving as past-president of the NJSFDA from 1990 to 1991, he pursued his dream of building a state-of-the-art funeral home; this dream became a reality in 1995 with the completion of Countryside Funeral Home in Three Bridges, NJ. Both funeral homes offer a children's play and educational area, and a resource center which includes books and pamphlets. Both homes actively participate in the trust and insurance types of pre-need funeral planning and preparations. Mr. Zalewski and his family are active communicants at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church in Three Bridges. Jack is a member of the Men's Club, serves on the building fund committee, and is a Eucharistic Minister.
The Zalewski family is a member of the Hillsborough and Flemington Rotary Clubs and the Orchard Lake Alumni Association. The Zalewskis are contributors to the Raritan Valley Community College Theater and also work with the ARC of Somerset County and local hospice organizations. Jack proudly served his country during the Vietnam War from 1966-1968 with the United States Army.
